H. Y. is a founder of Tai, Kong & Co. He received his professional training with one of the big four during the 1970’s and obtained his Master of Business Administration degree at the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom. In addition to his considerable experience in financial and general management of large manufacturing and wholesale companies and power generation plants, he has extensive knowledge of Hong Kong taxation and Mainland China affairs especially issues involving foreign enterprises trading or investing in the Mainland China.
He is active in the accountancy profession. He was a past chairman of the Hong Kong Branch of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and the Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors.
