Carina was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting by The Open University of Hong Kong (renamed as Hong Kong Metropolitan University). She is qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants in 2000 and currently a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She has over 20 years of audit and assurance advisory services. She has been involved in audit for small and medium-sized companies in various industries such as manufacturing, trading, property investment and investment holding companies etc. She also works on special engagements such as Hong Kong Tax compliance and due diligence reviews.
